◎Overview
KYN28-12 (Gzs1-12) metal armored switch-type switchgear (hereinafter referred to as switchgear) is the joint design of the Longyuan Electric Power Research Institute commissioned by the former Ministry of Electric Power. The product should be developed by the majority of power users and design units. This product is suitable for 3~12KV three-phase AC 50HZ single busbar and double busbar segmentation system for receiving and distributing electric energy.

◎Structural features
The switch cabinet is composed of two parts: a cabinet and a handcart. The cabinet is assembled by bolts, and the outer casing and the inner partition are made of aluminum-zinc plate. The cabinet consists of four different functional units: the handcart room, the busbar room, the cable room, and the low pressure room. The removable unit can be divided into: circuit breaker handcart, voltage transformer handcart, isolation handcart, metering handcar, fuse handcart, lightning arrester handcart, etc. according to the use.
Guide rails are installed in the handcart compartment to ensure that the handcart moves in a balanced and reliable manner within the cabinet. The metal shutters are automatically opened and closed by the hand truck, and the upper and lower shutters can be opened separately for easy maintenance and safety. The handcart door is closed and the handcart can be moved. The position of the handcart and the indication and energy storage indication of the circuit breaker can be observed through the inspection window.
The cable room can be equipped with current transformers, voltage transformers, earthing switches, lightning arresters, zero-sequence transformers, sensors, etc. The cable connection height is above 650mm, and the single-core cable can connect up to six at each phase.
The busbar room is insulated by busbars, and the adjacent busbar compartments are separated by wall bushings, which can effectively prevent accidents from spreading. According to the rated current, the main busbars can be used with 1~3 copper bars.
The door panel and the internal mounting plate of the low-voltage room can be installed with various secondary equipment according to different requirements. The control busbar is installed on the top plate of the low-voltage room and covered with a rotatable partition to facilitate on-site installation.
A pressure release device is arranged above the handcart room, the busbar room and the cable room. When an arc occurs in the cabinet, the device can release the pressure and discharge the gas when the air pressure rises, thereby ensuring the safety of the operator and the switchgear.
The switchgear has a reliable interlocking device, which fundamentally prevents the harm caused by misoperation, and effectively ensures the safety of the operator and the switchgear. When the switchgear performs the following operations, the associated lock condition must be met, otherwise the operation will be prohibited.
